It's a good news, bad news scenario schedule wise for the Faribault Lakers. It was the Lakers getting on the board first in the second inning. Austin Rendler doubled to lead off the inning and after that it was a pair of  Mudcat miscues that aided the Lakers to a 2-0 lead. A Dylan O'Neil sacrifice bunt was thrown away allowing Rendler to score. After a Mason Conrad walk, Tucker Alstead grounded a ball to first baseman Ben Morrison.
