DRS Baseball: Faribault walks off Lonsdale 10-9
After a scoreless first, the Aces got on the board. After two batters reached on walks, a comebacker to the mound was thrown just wide of second base glancing off of shortstop's Joe Grote's glove causing a run to score. A bases loaded walk scored another run before a Tegan Mellgren single scored a pair, to make it a four run inning. The Lakers got back into the game in the fourth. Jack Jandro singled, stole second and scored on a Mason Conrad single. After Carter Quinlan singled, a sacrifice bunt attempt by Atley Qualey was airmailed allowing Conrad to score. With one out, Drew Conrad singled to get the Lakers back within a run. A wild pitch allowed Qualey to score followed by a sacrifice fly by Riley Palmer to give the Lakers their first lead at 5-4. Three hits to lead off the sixth inning got the Aces back in the lead. With two runners in scoring position, Kellen Jirik singled to score two runs.
